Ideal for patient room use, laboratories, outpatient exam rooms, as well as compact technology workstations for education, hospitality, public access, municipal or manufacturing facilities.  These units are OSHPD and Engineer certified.  Additional features include retractable keyboard trays, right and left mouse trays. The extension arm provides flexibility and privacy folding flat to the wall when not in use.  This compact design retracts to just 7.5” (190mm) from the wall when stored with up to a 55” (1397mm) extendable reach and 14” (356mm) of up and down height adjustment.  All models have advanced internal cable management.

Metro offers 8 styles and 29 models of the MetroMount Wall Arm. Each is delivered complete in one box that includes the Wall Arm, Track and Mounting Hardware.  Wall Arm components are Arctic White.  Selected models securely support 20 lbs. up to 40 lbs. (9 kg-18 kg) (monitor,keyboard,accessories).

This MetroMount HD Desktop Wallcenter features a 48" (1219mm) track with articulating arm, writing surface, easy lift-tilting and swivel keyboard tray with (1) swivel mouse pad and dual integrated handles.  Includes VESA LCD mount (supports 17"-26" [431-660mm] monitors) and a Metro Blue Gel Rest on keyboard tray.  This 48" (1219mm) track may be attached to concrete, steel studs, wood stud or drywall for a vertical installation only.

MetroMount SL Wallcenter

The MetroMount SL (Slim Line) Wallcenter brings healthcare and laboratory technology equipment to the point of care with the safety, versatility and reliability necessary to support clinician and researcher workflows.  Designed with the user in mind, the MetroMount SL offers easy use and effortless adjustments in an aesthetic streamline design.  The LCD and keyboard adjust in tandem with a locking lever to accommodate various user heights along a 40” (1016mm) vertical track.  This wall mount design features an auto-retracting keyboard that folds to a flat 4” (102mm), minimizing egress in high traffic areas (i.e. hallways).  The fully retractable keyboard features sliding ambidextrous mouse trays (right & left) with Microban antimicrobial protection in Arctic White with a Metro Blue gel rest. 

The smooth machined components and durable aluminum construction is OSHPD and Engineer certified.  This is an ideal compact technology workstation solution for healthcare patient rooms, corridors, outpatient exam rooms, laboratories, education, hospitality, public access, stock rooms, municipal and manufacturing facilities.  For ease of installation, the MetroMount SL is shipped in one box that includes wall track, all keyboard tray/screen support components and track hardware.  Keyboard, mouse and LCD screen shown in photo are not included.

Metro Mobile Basket Shelf Cart

The Metro Mobile Basket Shelf Cart is ideal for retail display of specialty, loose or smaller product items.  It may also be utilized for the transport of bulk assembly parts in a factory environment.  The (4) heavy-duty basket shelves are adjustable at 1" (25mm) increments along the height of the posts.  This cart is available in 14" and 18" (355, 457mm) depths and 36" and 48" (914, 1219mm) lengths.  The overall height, including casters, is 60" (1524mm). Each unit consists of (4) posts and (4) 3-1/2" (89mm) deep basket shelves in a black powder-coat finish with (2) swivel stem casters and (2) swivel/brake stem casters.  This item is shipped "knocked-down" and is easily assembled without special tools.

Maximum Load Rating:  600 lbs. (273kg) per unit.

MetroMax Q Convenience Pak

The MetroMax Q Convenience Pak includes one complete stationary shelving unit.  This is an easy-to-order alternative to separate shelving components.  Each pack includes (4) 74" (1890mm) high stationary posts with adjustable leveling foot, (4) shelf frames with removable polymer mats and (4) bags of wedges.

MetroMax Q is a unique value storage system solution.  This advanced polymer and epoxy coated steel design offers superior performance versus wire shelving.  Easy to clean and corrosion resistant, this product carries a 15 year warranty.  All shelves are designed with robust steel corners, quick-to-adjust lever and reinforced center trusses to provide the strength you need.  As with MetroMax i, there are no compromises in terms of support weight from that of the Super Erecta open wire system.

Metro offers laboratory work tables in 28 styles, each with a multitude of sizes in stationary or mobile configurations.  Metro’s innovative product designs are extremely versatile and allows you to reconfigure, add-on or break-down the product as your needs change over time.  Laboratory work tables are designed for you to select solution options based on budget and/or application requirements.

Work tables are available in your choice base materials:  stainless steel or MetroMax i polymer with stainless steel or phenolic tops. Units are shipped knocked down and assemble in minutes.  Solid shelves and 3-sided frames utilize a tapered sleeve which provides a positive lock when pushed down.  Table construction also utilizes tapered sleeves as well as innovative double-sided tape to affix various top materials.

Metro’s line of stainless laboratory work tables are specifically designed for lab environments.  Built primarily from Type 304 stainless steel, these tables provide a long-life performance and excellent corrosion resistance.  For mobile models, there is a wide selection of stem casters to meet your requirements.  The tables are load rated at 50 lbs. per square foot (.024kg per sq. cm) up to a maximum of 600 lbs. (273kg) assuming evenly distributed load and the caster specification meets requirement.  Stainless based work tables are available with a stainless or phenolic resin  (Trespa) tops. 

Countertop Material Definitions and Properties

Phenolic Resin:  Compression molded of organic fiber-reinforced phenolic core with an integrally cured thermoset resin surface.  Stronger than Epoxy resin over a span and not as brittle.  Properties:  moderate & high chemical use, fair* heat resistance, excellent abrasion and impact resistance, excellent strength and good stain resistance.

Stainless Steel:  Work surfaces are fabricated from Type 304 stainless steel which provides excellent protection in corrosive environments.  Properties: high chemical use, excellent heat resistance, good abrasion, impact and stain resistance, good strength.

Epoxy resin:  Epoxy resins, silica, organic fillers and inert hardeners are cast in forms and cured to a uniform mixture throughout.  Properties: moderate chemical use, excellent heat resistance, good abrasion, impact and stain resistance, good strength.

Super Erecta Pro

Super Erecta Pro™ is part of the Metro Super Erecta® family of storage products.  The Pro shelf is an open steel frame with tapered corner collars, side and center supports, all coated with Metroseal 3™ epoxy.  The shelf is designed to accept removable polymer mat sections that can be easily washed by hand or machine.  The shelf is typically used in stationary and mobile applications with Metroseal 3™ coated SiteSelect™ Posts.

The Metroseal 3™ finish makes this product ideal for use in wet, high humidity  or refrigerated environments requiring corrosion resistance.  This finish offers excellent abrasion, rust, gouge and chemical resistant properties.  The built-in Microban® antimicrobial product, provides protection from bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi build-up that may cause odor, stains and product degradation.  This product is NSF Approved and is widely specified in the food service and healthcare industries.

Mobile Super Erecta Pro for Healthcare

The snap-on polymer open grid shelf mats promote air circulation and light penetration.  Constructed of a mineral reinforced polypropylene with Microban®, these lift-off mats can be easily removed and washed by hand or machine.  The mats will withstand daily abuse from containers and sharp edges.  Their smooth finish and flat surfaces protect packaged shelf contents from unwanted rips, tears or damage. The polymer mats are impact resistant, corrosion proof and will not chip or rust.

With proven Super Erecta® construction, you can count on strong, robust and stable weight bearing surfaces:  800 lbs (363kg) per shelf for lengths of 24” to 48” (610 to 1220mm), 600 lbs. (275kg) per shelf for lengths of 54” (1370mm) or longer and 2,000 lbs. (907kg) maximum per stationary unit.  All weight capacities are based for evenly distributed loads. Shelves may also be used in environments with continuous temperatures of -20/120℉ (-20/49℃) with intermittent exposure to 200℉ (93℃).  Please note that the shelves are not suitable for cart wash applications.

Total Versatility - Super Erecta Pro™ shelves are compatible on the same shelving units with other Super Erecta® shelving options:  Super Erecta® wire, Super Adjustable Super Erecta®, Solid Super Erecta® shelves, Dunnage shelves and Cantilever shelves.  Additionally, the Pro shelves can be used with Post-Type Wall Mounts, Direct Wall Mounts, SmartWall G3™ Wall Mounts, Security Units, Top Track® and qwikTRAK® systems.

Adjustability - As with all Metro® storage systems, the shelves can be adjusted at 1” (25mm) increments along the post to maximize the use of available vertical storage space.  Super Erecta Pro™ units assemble easily in minutes without tools.  SiteSelect™ posts have numbered grooves and feature unique double grooves every 8” (203mm) to help position the shelves.

Warranty - The polymer shelf mats have a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.  The Metroseal 3 epoxy coated shelf frames and posts carry a 12 year limited warranty against rust and corrosion.  The Super Erecta Pro™ shelf system offers the durability of MetroMax i+Q™ polymer shelving with the economy of Super Erecta®  shelves.

Metro Starsys Scope Cabinet

The Starsys Scope Storage Cabinet is a high-density storage solution, which provides quick access and retrieval, visual inventory and easy identification.  The Metro Carousel rack  easily rotates, bringing each scope bracket front and center for tangle-free retrieval or return.  Each rack holds up to 11 scopes.  Single-wide cabinets contain one rack (capacity: 11) and double-wide cabinets contain two racks (capacity: 22).  This equates to an average of (3) scopes per square foot and more impressively, more scopes per linear foot (6) than any cabinet on the market.

Metro’s carousel rack has a stainless steel post with adjustment grooves in one inch increments.  This allows height adjustment for the scope brackets, cord managers, hoop and bumper to accommodate various scope lengths.  The scope bracket and cord managers can be easily removed without tools.  As technology progresses and scope dimensions change, new brackets may be installed in existing cabinets, saving the expense of a new cabinet.

The cabinet is constructed with polymer side panels which will not rust, dent, chip, flake or corrode.  The 2-piece plastic bottom drip pan contains remaining fluids and is easily removed for cleaning and drying.  To prevent potential scope damage, the polymer solid door will not deflect upon impact. Scope cabinets are offered with or without doors.  Those with doors have vents that are strategically located at top and bottom of doors to allow air flow.
