Divider Tote Boxes for All Reasons

Durable and impact resistant, Metro's Divider Tote Boxes offer safe and efficient storage of items in bulk or compartmentalized models with the use of optional dividers.  Injection molded for longer life and a more uniform wall thickness, these polypropylene based boxes have a high chemical resistivity.  They are available in Natural Grey, White, static-dissipative Benstat Blue or conductive Bentron Black in a multitude of stackable sizes.

Metro's Starsys Double-Wide Two-Bay Storage Cabinet lets you locate supplies, where and when you need them.  Completely flexible and mobile, this cabinet offers (12) re- arrangeable polymer drawers.  Each drawer, in varying depths, features a full-extension removable tote box insert, allowing for easy loading and unloading of supplies.  Inside the upper cabinet, there are (4) adjustable qwikSLOT wire shelves located behind a pair of center-closing clear panel doors.

Super Adjustable Super Erecta Wire Shelving

Metro's Super Adjustable Super Erecta Wire Shelving is the most advanced and innovative wire storage system available.  The Corner Release System encourages repositioning of shelves to reclaim wasted vertical space.  In some cases, reclaimed vertical space will allow an extra tier to be added to the storage unit resulting in a 25% increase in storage capacity.

The unique Corner Release System enables quick and easy repositioning of shelves during the initial set up to accommodate different package or container sizes.  Total Assembly is complete complete only after the shelves are properly spaced to maximize storage.  SiteSelect Posts, with the double-groove visual guide feature, have circular grooves at 1" (25mm) increments along the entire height of the post.

The unique shelf design and SiteSelect Posts enable tool-free quick adjustments at 1" (25mm) increments along the entire height of the post.  No compromises here, Super Adjustable shelves hold as much weight as traditional Super Erecta wire shelving.  Stationary units hold a maximum of 2,000 lbs. (910kg).  The maximum weight capacity per 48" (1219mm) shelf or shorter is 800 lbs. (364kg).  Shelves longer than 48" (1219mm) are rated for 600 lbs. (273kg).

Super Erecta Shelf Containment

Metro's Super Erecta Wire and Solid Shelving System offers numerous solutions for the containment of stored items within a shelf for stationary or mobile applications.  Many of these containment options may be used in combination with one another to achieve your ultimate storage goals.

 

Ledges are available in 1" and 4" (25 or 100mm) heights in a variety of lengths and finishes.  Ideal for preventing items from protruding or falling from shelves.

Drop Mat Shelves feature a built-in 1" (25mm) ledge on all four sides.  This shelf is also available in a qwikSLOT version.  Both shelf types are available in limited sizes and a variety of finishes.

Enclosure Panels are an efficient way of enclosing shelf space for stationary or mobile applications.  They are available in chrome or stainless steel finishes.

Rods & Tabs can be used to form side and back enclosures for a shelving unit as well as providing uniform dividers within a unit by passing through shelves from top to bottom.

The MetroMax i Convenience Pak includes one complete stationary shelving unit per order, an easy-to-order alternative to separate shelving components.  Available in two depths and a variety of lengths.  Each pack includes (4) 74" (1890 mm) high stationary post with adjustable leveling foot, (4) shelf frames with removable grid mats and (4) bags of wedges.

Strong like wire shelving, MetroMax i has a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.  This product is durable, impact resistant and lighter in weight than its steel counterpart.  All polymer parts are infused with Microban antimicrobial product protection.  The removable shelf grid mats are easily cleaned in a sink or commercial washer.

Open Starsys System

Metro's Open Starsys System is a productivity focused, high-density transport and storage system that adapts to change, while providing safe and comfortable access to the material it stores.  Optional full-extension shelves offer increased storage capacity compared to standard shelving and carts.  Units may be designed to fit your needs in three simple steps as follows:

1  Select a Shell

Shells are available in single, double or triple wide dimensions to accommodate intermediate shelves, either stationary and/or full-extension.  Twelve shell models are available in three widths, two heights, stationary, mobile or mobile ESD* variants. 

*ESD Classification:  Conductive (Stationary and Mobile ESD units only).

2  Select a Configuration

Each shell comes complete with top and bottom wire shelves, posts with slotted inserts, footplates (for stationary models), weighted platform and casters (for mobile models) and necessary hardware.  Triple-wide units also include one pair of Intermediate Posts to create a single wide and double wide bay to accommodate available shelves widths.

3  Select Shelves

Shelves are available in stationary or full-extension styles that can be installed at any location on a post within a shell at 1" (25mm) increments.  Stationary shelves include necessary mounting clip and each full-extension shelf includes one pair of shelf glides with a hand-lock button to prevent shelf movement while mobile.  Stationary and full-extension shelves can be utilized within the same shell.

Select Optional Accessories

Accessories allow you to further customize your Open Starsys Unit.  Enclosure Panels are available for top, sides and back to protect unit contents.  In addition, there are Post Filler Kits, Shelf Label Holders, Dividers and Ledges.
