Metro Suture Carts with specially designed slanted wire shelves let you organize and store sutures within easy reach.  The open wire construction and slope of shelves permit instant identification.  No more searching, the sutures you need are in plain view.  Suture cartons are neat and organized on the shelves for precise control of inventory, eliminating duplication and confusion when re-ordering.  The slanted design also allows for quick and simple loading.  Shelves are self-feeding, so cartons are always at the front within easy grasp.

Four-inch Dividers serve as ledges at the ends of each shelf to prevent cartons from sliding off as well as separating rows of cartons. Five-inch casters enable the cart to be moved easily by one person. Brakes on front casters make it simple to lock the cart in position when placed against  a wall.  Select from (6) models and sizes.

MetroMax i I.V. Transport/Storage System carts are the perfect solution for Exchange Systems, Par Level Storage, Bulk Storage in Central Supply, Pharmacy Admixture, I.C.U. and E.R. Storage areas. MetroMax i construction provides smooth surfaces that will not snag sterile packs or sealed supplies.  All shelves, frames and posts are infused with Microban antimicrobial product protection, inhibiting the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, keeping the cart cleaner between cleanings.

The Metro Super Erecta Post-Type, Direct Wall Mount and SmartWall G3 Systems are ideal for storing items conveniently overhead or above work surfaces.  These versatile systems can accommodate Super Erecta wire and solid shelves, Super Erecta Pro, MetroMax Q and MetroMax i shelves to meet your exact needs.  Shelf supports are available as single or double.  Double shelf supports are used for mounting adjacent shelves, end-to-end.  Shelves and shelf supports are offered in all standard Metro lengths and depths.  Additionally, there is a wide variety of optional accessories to customize your design configuration.

The Metro Post-Type Wall Mount System can hold anything from a single small shelf to many tiers of shelving running continuously along a wall.  Each post has rolled, circular grooves along its entire height at 1" (25mm) intervals.  Tapered plastic split-sleeves lock around any groove and the matching taper openings on the shelf, providing secure positioning.  Shelves may be positioned or repositioned anywhere along the height of the post.  This system is NSF Approved and available in nickel chrome, Metroseal 3 epoxy finish and Type 304 stainless steel.

Direct Wall Mount

Metro's Direct Wall Mount System is a convenient way to mount a single storage level utilizing (1) shelf.  The two-piece support is held by a mounting plate that attaches directly to the wall, conserving space between the back of the shelf within a fraction of an inch from the wall.  NSF Approved and available in nickel chrome, Metroseal 3 epoxy finish and Type 304 stainless steel.

SmartWall G3

Metro's SmartWall G3 System is a unique storage and work station system utilizing integrated wall tracks that offer the flexibility to add wall shelving and wall mounted task stations where needed.  Typically this system is used above sinks, work tables and equipment to keep those areas clean and more organized.  SmartWall G3 can become an integral part of the everyday operating process to improve efficiencies and ultimately the return on investment.  This system offers the ability to create a customized task station with various combinations of wall tracks, shelves, grids and accessories.  NSF Approved and available in Brite or Metroseal 3 epoxy finish.

Metro's Super Erecta Transport/Exchange Cart is ideal for moving supplies or linens from Central Supply or the Laundry to nursing units and other functional departments.  These transport carts utilize a dolly base to endure the rigors encountered in the daily distribution of products throughout health care facilities.

These carts feature Super Adjustable shelves with a patented release lever to allow for easy reconfiguration of shelves as supply dimensions change.  Carts offer various features (as noted) such as dividers, enclosure panels, Super Erecta slides and tote boxes in various combinations, all of which can be removed and reconfigured to adapt to changes in supply, volume and packaging.

Metro’s qwikTRAK High-Density Storage System can increase the storage capacity of a given area by 30% to 50%.  This system allows more storage units to fit in a defines space.  A movable, open aisle allows full access to each shelving unit, thus eliminating hard to reach or “dead” spaces.  The floor track system guides the mobile units and opens an access aisle between any two units whenever it is needed.  This enables easy access for employees or for utility carts, simplifying the material handling task.  The qwikTRAK System is compatible with Super Erecta, Super Adjustable-Super Erecta, Super Erecta Pro, MetroMax i and MetroMax Q shelving systems.

This efficient utilization of space addresses the storage needs of new or growing operations. In a new facility, less square footage would have to be dedicated to storage.  In a growing operation, the qwikTRAK System can eliminate the need to expand the facility to handle increasing storage requirements, greatly reducing the costs associated with a growing business's needs.

An infinite number of configurations and performance options are possible with the qwikTRAK System.  Super Erecta variants offer a variety of finishes, accessories and shelf types that may be mixed or matched.  The MetroMax i + Q System variants with Microban antimicrobial product protection, offers the ability to mix and match MetroMax i + Q shelves and posts based on the application and economical considerations.  Both i + Q shelf options feature removable polymer open grid shelf mats for longer-life durability and easy cleaning.  Corrosion-proof MetroMax i offers a solid shelf option and better chemical resistance.  Corrosion-resistant MetroMax Q steel posts can improve the overall rigidity of the qwikTRAK System in higher weight bearing applications.  MetroMax iQ accessories may be used interchangeably between the i + Q systems to customize the qwikTRAK System.  While all of these options and variations may seem overwhelming, our Genuine Metro Products Specialists are always available to assist you in creating optimal configurations to meet your specific requirements for both dry and wet environments.

The qwikTRAK floor tracks, constructed of aluminum and stainless steel, provide a smooth gliding surface for mobile units, while protecting the floors from wear and tear.  The floor tracks do not require fastening to the floor.  Floor tracks compensate for rough or choppy floor surfaces.  The mobile units are designed to move easily and store heavy weight loads.  MetroMax i mobile qwikTRAK units can hold up to 1200 lbs. (544kg).  MetroMax Q, Super Adjustable and Super Erecta mobile qwikTRAK units can hold up to 2000 lbs. (907kg).
