Part of the STARSYS Pre-Configured Series, this Tall Mobile Cabinet is not only attractive, but highly functional as well.  Constructed of an easy-to-clean advanced polymer material that will not dent, chip, rust, flake or corrode.  The Microban antimicrobial product protection infused within the polymer, inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, keep the surface areas "cleaner between cleanings".

This Double-Wide Two-Bay Supply Cabinet includes (4) single-wide adjustable polymer shelves and (4) single-wide full extension white storage baskets behind the upper door set.  Below there are (4) 3" deep (76mm), (4) 6" deep (152mm) and (2) 9" deep (229mm) single-wide polymer drawers with removable tote boxes.

Metro's Basix Plus Carts are constructed from a combination of materials to endure the daily rigors of the health care and laboratory environment, while providing an ergonomic and flexible work station for staff.

Features:

• Lighter:  Basix Plus Carts are made lighter than typical all-steel carts by utilizing aluminum drawers and polymer components such as the polymer base, cart top and corner extrusions.
• Cleaner:  Polymer corner extrusions provide accessory attachment channels while improving cleanliness by eliminating dirt catching holes on sides and back of typical metal carts.
• Easier:  Light weight carts are easier to push and maneuver, reducing back strain.  Side mounting channels provide flexibility and ease of accessory positioning.
• Flexible:  User defined configurations can be accommodated by filling an empty cart shell with desired drawer heights.
• Accessible:  Full extension, self-closing slides on drawers with a variety of accessories, places equipment and supplies where need for convenience.

Basix Plus Carts are offered in standard model packages that include accessories as noted for each.  Basix Plus Compact Carts feature a smaller foot print for tighter spaces than the standard body cart.  All carts have a double-wall steel body for structural integrity and a powder coat finish for durability.

Color options include Two-Tone (cart body in Light Taupe with drawers in one selected color) or Solid (cart body and drawers in one selected color).  In both color scheme options, all polymer components (i.e. top work surface, drawer pulls, caster, base and corner posts) are always in Light Taupe.

Lifeline Code Response | Crash Carts

Metro's Lifeline Carts are designed for a code response.  Advanced polymer construction with rounded corners and Microban antimicrobial product protections helps to maintain a cleaner cart to improve infection control.  The lightweight construction, ergonomic handle and a proprietary 5th-Wheel Steering System assures maximum control in transit and maneuverability during a response.  Tilt-out side bins, a top storage compartment and drawers provide simultaneous access to multiple stored products.

• Full Extension Drawers have self-closing ball bearing slide to provide easy access to medications and supplies.  Drawer depths are available in 3", 6" and 12" (76, 152, 229 and 305 mm).
• Lock Mechanism secures top compartment, drawers and side bins can be sealed in segments or one seal secures all.
